the big difference was the water in Orleans are nowhere...the water in bombay went away on its own within 48 hours, so one cant really compare the two calamities. on the reaction to the calamity, well mr bush is already receiving a lot of brickbats for that!
Hmmm... u cant compare hurricanes to rain. Hurricanes cause more disaster and its difficult for relief work to get through till they coll down. Altho', No doubt, the resilient nature of the people of mumbai did show out in this incident.
